There’s something about Kodiak that always keeps you on your toes—one minute, the sun is shining, the next, the fog rolls in, followed by a light drizzle, then back to golden light. And honestly? That’s part of the magic.
Olivia and Micah’s engagement session was classic Kodiak. We started on the North End Trails of Near Island, where the mossy trees and ocean views gave us the perfect mix of rugged and romantic. The weather couldn’t decide what it wanted to do, but these two just rolled with it, laughing through every shift in the skies.
By the time we made it to Trident Basin’s float plane dock, the mist had settled over the water, adding an almost cinematic feel to the last part of their shoot. Watching these two soak up every moment—whether in the sun or the rain—was a reminder of why I love engagement sessions so much.
Olivia and Micah, you were an absolute joy to work with! Thanks for trusting me to capture this season of your lives, rain or shine.
