Wildflowers, Fog & Frolicking | Taylor’s Pillar Mountain Adventure
Some shoots are planned for weeks. Others? Pure, last-minute magic. Taylor and I pulled this Pride & Prejudice-inspired idea together just hours before, hoping for golden light and dreamy fields of wildflowers. Instead, Kodiak did what Kodiak does—the fog rolled in, soft and moody, changing the whole vibe. And honestly? It made everything even better.
From the moment we got out there, Taylor was all in—twirling through the lupine, skipping down the hillside, spinning, running, and fully embracing the magic of the moment. The fog wrapped around us like something out of a fairytale, adding this cinematic, windswept feel that made every shot look straight out of a period drama (but with way more laughter).
It was ridiculously fun, slightly chaotic, and completely perfect. Taylor’s energy was contagious—she danced, she laughed, and she made the whole experience an absolute blast. The kind of shoot where you walk away with sore cheeks from smiling so much.
Moral of the story? Plans change, the weather does what it wants, but when you lean into the moment, you get something way better than expected.
